How often does ProductByte read my sheet?
On the schedule you pick, from every 15 minutes to every two weeks, or only when you start an import. Shorter intervals depend on your plan.
How should I lay out my sheet?
Use a header row and one product or variant per row, and pick the tab that holds them. ProductByte suggests a product field for each column, and rows that share a parent ID become one product with variants.
Can I import an Excel file?
Open it as a Google Sheet or save it as CSV on Google Drive first. ProductByte imports Google Sheets and CSV, TSV, XML, and JSON files.
Can ProductByte see everything in my Google Drive?
No. ProductByte only opens the files you pick. It cannot see or list anything else in your Drive, and it never writes to your sheet.
Can I send products from my sheet to Google Merchant Center?
Yes. Connect Google Merchant Center as well, and ProductByte builds the feed from your sheet. The sync score shows which Google fields still need attention.
